Latte Art Throwdown

One of Freiburg's first coffee competitions is here! What is a Latte Art Throwdown? Throwdown is what we specialty-coffee peeps call a relatively informal competition, in which baristas from various shops face off to see who can pour the prettier drink.

Since the coffee culture in Freiburg is still very young, we chose throwdown as all-in-good-fun nature contest to profound camaraderie and relationships not only among the cafés here, but also among our beloved regular and non regular guests. Let’s get to know each other more and show everyone how great coffee community is - welcoming, loving, knowledgeable and thirsty to get knowledge. Most importantly this event is about having fun, so let’s get together and channel our coffee passion along with good beer, snacks, cocktails/mocktails and as we will sneak to the later hours also DJ and wine.

As competitors, you will have the special opportunity to meet your fellow baristas, to feel the community vibe and to challenge yourselves! And how to grow better than with a champion behind you and amazing prizes as a motivation?!
